Coupar Angus – matchday preview

This week Scone welcome Coupar Angus to Farquharson Park for a 1:45 pm kick off in the Premier League North. The two sides last met in August with Scone winning 7-0 and will be looking to take their recent run of good form into today’s game. Manager Derek Lawson will be without Stephen Moon, Kevin Sinclair, Gary Mackie and Ross Mitchell (who scored a hat trick in the last meeting) but will be able to welcome back Max Avolio & Andrew Mackenzie to today’s squad. Scone will be looking to cement their current League position while Coupar Angus will be searching for their first points of the season. Off the park this week, David McPhee has completed his move from Scone to Coupar Angus and we wish him all the best for the rest of the season with today’s visitors. A reminder that season tickets are still on sale today with each holder also entitled to a 20% discount off their food bill at the Wheel Inn who will also be hosting the two teams after today’s game. For those unable to make the game, coverage will be on our sister twitter account @jaggieslive and on the website available here from 1.30pm and we hope to bring you a match report & photo’s from the game over the coming days.

With 3 ties in the Macron Scottish Junior Cup and a further 2 ties in the Signature Signs Cup involving teams from the Premier League North, there is only 1 other League fixture today which sees East Craigie host Blairgowrie.
