Dundee North End – matchday preview

In a change to today’s advertised fixture v Newburgh, Scone will now travel through to Dundee to take on the League leaders Dundee North End. With North End’s ground beating the weather and Newburgh’s pitch being deemed unplayable, the League have agreed to this rescheduled fixture instead after North End’s away game v Dufftown has also been postponed. Scone last played North End back in November with Charlie Fertacz (sponsored by Blackadders) scoring for Scone. North End currently sit top of the League having only lost twice all season and the Jaggies will need to be at their very best to get anything out of this game. Scone will be without Max Avolio who has a hip injury and Craig Mitchell who played through the pain barrier last week and manager Derek Lawson (sponsored by Graham Milne) will give late fitness tests to others before deciding his starting 11. Coverage will be on our sister Twitter account @Jaggieslive and on the website from 2.15pm and we will bring you a match report & summary of today’s games over the weekend.

Today’s remaining fixtures in the McBookie.com North Division are as follows:

Blairgowrie v Forfar Albion

Brechin Vics v East Craigie

Dundee Violet v Lochee Harp (OFF)

Kinnoull v Arbroath Vics (OFF)

Luncarty v Coupar Angus (OFF)
