Jaggies last pre season friendly – matchday preview

Having only lost 1 of their opening 5 pre season friendlies, Scone will be hoping to continue they’re preparations for the forthcoming season with a good performance tonight against a Berwick Rangers Development squad who we welcome to Farquharson Park. This is the only home fixture before the season starts as the pitch has been given some much needed rest over the summer. Anyone wanting to come down tonight, admission is free with a 7:15 kick off. Both sets of players are invited back to the Wheel Inn for hospitality after the game.

The last time these two sides met was this time last year, also in a pre season friendly which Scone won 2-1 with a brace from Fraser Mills.

You will also be able to purchase tonight a season ticket for the McBookies.com home league games at Farquharson Park, please note these tickets are not valid for any of the cup games. Prices are the same as last season with an “Adult Season Ticket” costing just £45. With the region increasing the admission gate to £5 last season, this means you get 4 games free! The “Senior Season Ticket”  represents even better value at only £20.

As an added bonus we are delighted that one of our main sponsors Wheel Inn have agreed that each card will also entitle the holder to a 10% discount off their food bill. We thank their new manager Derek and his team for their continued support.

With the season starting on the 5th August with back to back home games, you will want to get your ticket early for maximum value. Alternatively you can order a ticket through a committee member or one of the playing staff.

For any further enquiries or if you would like to sponsor any of the players/staff and see your name featured in match reports, photos and other social media posts, please contact commercial@sconethistlefc.org for details. Please provide your name, phone number and the player you would like to sponsor and someone from our commercial team will get in touch.

The results from our pre season friendlies and opening League fixtures are listed above in the “match day” drop down menu. Live coverage of tonights game will be on our sister Twitter account @jaggieslive and on the website from 7pm.
