Jaggies round off season with Dundee visit – matchday preview

For the final time in season 2016/17 Scone Thistle take to the field in McBookie.com North Division action when the Jags travel to North End Park and the challenge of Dundee North End in the evening’s sole match in the division.

With Fraser Mills suspended and a few players missing due to holidays it’s a weaker than normal Jags side that will finish off the season tonight against the challenge of a home side that has 4 wins a draw and a defeat in their last six games as opposed to Scone’s 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat.   Scone will have to play well to take something from tonight’s final match but with the club only having lost one match in 2017 against top six opposition it certainly isn’t beyond them.

North End will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of losing out last weekend in their DJ Laing East of Scotland Cup semi-final to Tranent, a cup run that has left the Dokens playing catch up with the other teams in the North Division – the Dundee side still have 3 to play whilst all other clubs in the league are either finished or only have one match to play.

The match kicks off at 7.15pm but if you can’t join us at Farquharson Park we’ll have our usual coverage online with live updates on our matchday live page or if you prefer via Twitter where the account to follow is @Jaggieslive.

We’ll bring you a report this evening with highlights to follow tomorrow.
