U15s | Our U15s played away at Forfar Farmington on Saturday on a very heavy pitch . Forfar got off to a good start when a shot was hit from the edge of the box in the 1st minute - Katherine managed to get her finger tips on it but couldn't keep it out. The girls regrouped and battled hard but the Forfar no 11 was causing the girls problems and she scored two goals in the 1st half to make it 3-0 at HT . The 2nd half was a much more even game with Forfars no 11 being rested and the girls started to play some nice passing moves down the wings. It was a game with very few chances. Late in the 2nd half Forfar brought back on their no 11 and a few minutes later she added a 4th. Despite the scoreline, the girls effort was brilliant and they fought hard and never let their heads go down. Well done girls, we pick ourselves up again for Thursday. ⚽️🔴

Player of the Match this week goes to Isla. This is the second time Isla has picked up the award this season and both have been against Forfar Farmington! She was strong and made important tackles at the back. Well done Isla! 👏⚽️🔴

Scone u13s 10- 1 Dundee West

After an early pitch inspection the game was to go ahead. Scone were missing a few players and it took the girls a while to settle into the game. Dundee West started well putting lots of pressure on Scone not allowing them time on the ball. However Olivia eventually found some space down the right had side, she drove into the corner and put in a fantastic cross which found Ellie O who hit it first time and found the back of the net, 1-nil Scone.
Both teams continued to play some good football but with a strong Scone defence and some good saves from the Dundee goal keeper the score remained 1 nil.
Scone made some changes before Ellie O grabbed her second for the day. Dundee West then pushed forward and had a chance but Izzy was there to save. Scone continued to push forward just before half time, Ella took a shot which the goal keeper got to but was unlucky in wet surface and the ball found the back of the net.

3 nil HT

Scone started the second half well and again played some good football, creating plenty of chances. Dundee West’s confidence had dropped from the first half which allowed our girls more time on the ball and it wasn’t long before Ellie O grabbed her 3rd for the day and Courtney, Aimee and Olivia all adding to the score sheet. Dundee did however push forward in the last 5/ 10 minutes of the game playing some good passing football and grabbing themselves a goal.

Well done to both teams today and good luck to Dundee West for the rest of the season.
