This week we welcome Brechin Vics to Farquharson Park as the Jaggies start the 2017/18 campaign with the second of their back to back home games. The last time these two sides met was back in January which Scone won 3-0 with goals from Abi Njie (2) & Fraser Mills, the game also saw ex Brechin player Arran McKay (sponsored by J D Simpson Painter & Decorator) make his debut for the Jaggies.
With both sides losing on the opening day, neither will want to drop further points as they look to kick start their season. With a couple of knocks and absentees Scone manager Derek Lawson (sponsored by Colin Ogilvie Joinery) will be looking to his squad to bounce back from last weeks disappointment. Kick off for todays game is 2.30pm with an entrance fee of £5 for Adults & £2 for seniors/concessions, alternatively you can still pick up a season ticket for all of the McBookie.com home games at Farquharson Park which are priced at £45 & £20 respectively. If you can’t make the game, live coverage will be on our sister twitter account @jaggieslive and on the website from 2.15pm. The Wheel Inn will be providing their excellent hospitality after the game where season ticket holders can also enjoy 10% discount off their food bill.
Many thanks to all those that have been in touch regarding player sponsorship. This week we thank our American cousins across the pond the “Baker Family” from the “U.S. Supporter’s Club” who will be sponsoring both keepers (Josh Gorton & David Winton) home & away, Malcolm Cameron who will be sponsoring Fraser MacDonald and lastly Blackadders Estate Agents & Solicitors who will be sponsoring Charlie Fertacz.
There are still a couple of players left to sponsor and if you are interested please email any enquiries to email@example.com for further details.
