Saturday saw Scone make the short trip to Tulloch Park to play Kinnoull in what would turn out to be a frustrating day for the Jaggies. With both teams fielding weakened squads perhaps that was to be expected but as the first half kicked off, Scone looked the livelier of the two sides. Both sides were struggling to find the target before Tom Whyte for Kinnoull picked up a booking for a reckless challenge on 40 minutes. Kevin Sinclair took the resulting free kick and when Charlie Fertacz (available to sponsor for away games) jumped with Jarrett, the ball dropped to Craig Mitchell who with his back to goal was able to turn and shoot to give Scone the lead going into the break. The second half started with Ben Moffat and Charlie Fertacz both having shots on target before Jamie Ayton came on for Derek Angus (T) on 67 minutes. As the game entered the last 20 minutes, Scone defender Stephen Moon who had gone upfield for a free kick, was alleged to have leaned in with his elbow and was shown a straight red card. Gary Mackie then came on for Moffat for the last 10 minutes but any thoughts of Scone hanging on for 3 points were dashed when Kevin Sinclair was booked for Scone on 83 minutes and Kinnoull equalised from the free kick via Cameron Ogg.

Man of the match for Scone: Craig Mitchell who has made an excellent start to the season off the back of last years campaign when he picked up the Player & Players’ Player of the year. Craig is currently sponsored by Taylors Hair & Beauty Salon but is also available to sponsor for away games.
